Raechal Martin appeared on Seasons 3&4 of the Netflix series, "Last Chance U" as the head athletic trainer of the Independence CC Pirates football program.
Martin has now moved to Austin, Texas after starting her own business and as you will hear in our conversation, her thoughts and interests are bigger than the series she says does not define her.
We discuss her love for Nipsey Hussle, recognizing her white privilege and how she uses it as an ally against injustices black/brown people face.
